World Alert: Indian spacecraft lands near moon’s south pole, an international first, days after Russian vehicle crashed into lunar surface

The successful landing of the uncrewed Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft came shortly after 8:30 a.m. ET after a 39-day journey to the moon.
