Pelosi reclaims House speaker's gavel as spending fight simmers
By the end of the day, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic-controlled House plan to push through legislation to reopen the federal government. But the measure has been declared dead on arrival in the GOP-led Senate.
