News alert: A Capitol Police officer has been charged with obstruction in a January 6 riot case

A veteran U.S. Capitol Police officer assigned to the K-9 unit during the Jan. 6 riot allegedly directed a participant in the insurrection to remove evidence showing the rioter's presence inside the U.S. Capitol.
