| Following an airstrike in Kabul the U.S. military said targeted militants carrying explosives, The Washington Post provided Pentagon assessments and imagery of the damage caused by the strike to experts, including a physicist and former bomb technicians. Taken together, their assessments suggest there is no evidence the car contained explosives. Ten civilians were killed in the Aug. 29 strike, families said. |
