World Alert: France to close restaurants and other non-essential businesses because of coronavirus outbreak

Starting at midnight Saturday, all non-essential businesses — including cafes, restaurants and movie theaters — will be closed until further notice, French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe said. Banks, gas stations, supermarkets and pharmacies will remain open.
