News Alert: Iran postpones general’s burial after 35 people were killed in stampede during funeral procession

Throngs of mourners crushed through the streets of Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani's hometown following his coffin when a stampede broke out, killing 35 people, according to state television. Mehdi Sadafi, the head of the funeral committee, told the ISNA news agency that due to the overcrowding the body would have to be buried on another day to be announced.
