The U.S. vice president said Turkey will pause its military operation for 120 hours to allow the U.S. to facilitate the withdrawal of Kurdish forces from a "safe zone" in Syria across the border for Turkey. Then the Turkish operation in Syria will end once the Kurdish withdrawal is complete, Pence also said.
