"At 4:10 p.m. local time an IRGC Gashti Class patrol boat approached the M/T Kokuka Courageous and was observed and recorded removing the unexploded limpet mine" from the Courageous, Urban said. An earlier version of this alert stated in the headline that the U.S. military said a video showed the mine being retrieved before the explosion. In fact, the military's timeline suggested this happened afterward.
