As the Mexican population in the United States shrinks, Americans are increasingly migrating to Mexico, where they're pouring money into local economies, renovating historic homes and changing the dynamics of Mexican classrooms. The U.S.-born population in Mexico has increased fourfold since 1990, and many are undocumented. But unlike in the United States, even those who have overstayed their visas are welcomed.
