Alleged gunman appears in court as rabbi pleads: 'Stop the words of hate'
Robert Bowers, 46, was denied bail and only spoke to answer a judge's questions. He faces more than two dozen federal charges, including hate crime counts. Rabbi Jeffrey Myers directly linked the shooting at his Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, which left 11 people dead, to the rhetoric of U.S. politicians.
