North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in talked for two hours in a meeting hastily arranged after days of diplomatic upheaval. They met in the truce village of Panmunjom, in the Demilitarized Zone that separates the two Koreas, and "frankly" discussed how to ensure the success of the agreement they forged last month and Kim's summit with Trump, South Korea's presidential Blue House said. This came after several roller-coaster days in which President Trump canceled the summit and then suggested the next day it might still be on. The North Korean regime has said Kim is ready to talk to Trump "at any time." |
